We will be using the Music First Online Classroom to access premium software. The software that we will be using for notation and composition is "NoteFlight for Learning". In addition we will be using the Digital Audio workstation ,"Soundation for Education" , to learn the basics of digital recording and sequencing.
There will be Tasks due for each class, which students are expected to complete during class. Each Task will be graded , as will all major projects. In case of absence, students can access the assignments on the Music First Online Classroom and are expected to submit them within 3 days of return to school.
Students will also have a workbook called "Practical Theory", which they are expected to keep up to date, for a bi-weekly check and grade.
Any work that is not submitted, after a reasonable amount of time, will receive a zero.
